May I introduce … “Jago” the lion.
Isn’t he just beautiful??
It took me a while to get some modest photos of him, as I arrived the zoo at lunchtime and he was rather interested in his food (a lamb) than being photogenic. He couldn’t stop moving for ages … But then (finally) he came to rest. ^^

I was hoping to get a picture of his mate “Layla”, too … but she didn’t show up.
(Who knows … perhaps she was suffering a migraine or something like that )

I can’t really tell how old he is, but I think he’s quite young.
He and his mate haven’t been living in this zoo for long.
The old lion (unfortunately, I can’t remember his name) died some time ago.
His daughter “Sarah” is still living here … but I have no idea where they brought the others.
(I’m sure there where two other lionesses)

Well … anyway, this picture turned out to be the best of my little " photo session "
